A weekend of truffle immersion and indulgence awaits you in June as we offer you a ‘Truffle Lovers Weekend’ on the Mornington Peninsula. 
 

Starting off with a truffle masterclass at Georgie Bass Café and Cookery, Head Chef Michael Cole will introduce you to working with the ‘black diamond’, and share preparation secrets to use in your own kitchens. Finish off this approx. 2-hour session with some truffled brûlée tart and truffle ice cream.   
 

It’s then off to Red Hill Truffles with Jenny and her trusty sidekick Thomas as they show you how to uncover the intoxicating perfume of fresh truffle from the earth. Some light catering to warm your insides will be provided at the conclusion of your approx. 2-hour hunt.  Please ensure you pack your gumboots!
 

Your Saturday then culminates in an extravagant truffle dinner in Peninsula at the Flinders Hotel.  This 5-course degustation dinner with a ‘worldly twist’ will be prepared by chefs trained in the cuisines of 3 of the world’s top truffle growing regions – France, Italy and Australia. Each course will be complimented with local wines, and the evening will culminate in amusing anecdotes and fantastic door prizes.
 

Finally, make the most of relaxing in luxurious accommodation at Quarters. Your Bauer room comes with complimentary wifi, morning newspaper and late checkout. Awake on Sunday to a freshly prepared truffled egg breakfast at Georgie Bass Cafe.
