This class, whilst being obviously French themed will be based around the idea of having a dinner party at your home (for 8-12) and as such participants will cook a three-course meal covering some of the French classics with a modern twist. With French food, technique is everything! So while tackling the classics there will be a strong focus on picking a couple of basic techniques and maybe using them a few times for different dish’s throughout the class, so the students can see how to apply the idea in different ways (very common if French food) We will work through variations on a theme, catering for dietaries and also how to get ready well in advance of your guests’ arrival so you can enjoy the night without be chained to the stove! (the French are such effortless entertainers)

As a committed partner of the Mornington Peninsula Produce program, we incorporate ‘home grown goods’ from our kitchen garden, planter boxes and Flinders farm into the menu seasonally.

To help you repeat the Georgie Bass experience at home we run a series of hands-on cooking classes that will inspire you to challenge yourself in the kitchen. Led by our industry leading chefs and cooked with premium Miele equipment, these classes cater for a maximum of 11 people, ensuring you receive personalised tuition throughout each class.

We cater for all levels of experience, and welcome private group bookings for friends, special occasions or corporate groups.

Each class runs for approximately 3 hours and is inclusive of meals prepared. Beverages additional. Sensible covered toe shoes are appreciated.

Cancellations received more than 14 days out from your booked cooking class are entitled to reschedule into another cooking class.  A refund will not be given.  

Cancellations received within 14 days or less from the date of your booked class are non-refundable and non-transferrable.  

Please advise us of any dietary requirements at the time of booking and whilst we make every effort, we cannot always accommodate all requests within certain classes.
