Starting at our very own produce farm, at Mornington Park on the fringe of Flinders, Multi-award winning Head Chef, Michael Cole, will lead you through a forage to learn about seasonal produce and collect the hero ingredients for your dishes. Then it’s back to our purpose built, Miele sponsored, kitchen in the heart of Flinders. Here you will learn the tricks of the trade to turn your foraged produce into mouth watering dishes you can prepare at home. Creating a selection of dishes inspired by seasonal produce and other local artisan producers, ensuring a truly local and unique experience.
Then the immersion takes you through the heartland of the Peninsula, with a self-drive via scenic winding roads, over the ridge, to Crittenden Estate ….
Here you will be welcomed by the Crittenden Estate team and taken into your own private tasting room where your wine immersion begins. Set on one of the oldest and most iconic vineyards on the Mornington Peninsula, their large range of wines reflect winemaker Rollo Crittenden’s passion for traditional varietals as well as his inability to resist the temptation to experiment in the winery. Cool climate, Spanish and Italian varieties are all on offer here. This means that your wine masterclass experience is informative and educational. Imperatively though, it is fun and like anything to do with wine, best enjoyed with friends and family.
